R. Jordan Hazelwood, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-S, CCRE, is an assistant professor of speech-language pathology at Appalachian State University. She’s a Board-Certified Specialist in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (BCS-S) and is the former professional development manager for ASHA’s SIG 13: Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (Dysphagia).
