Emma is a first-year speech-language pathology graduate student at the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University. In 2023, she is taking a 1-year leave of absence and is actively working as an entrepreneur and an overseas liaison officer for the China Association of Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (Special Committee for Communication Disorders) and Beijing Language and Culture University (School of Communication Science) to promote the development of speech-language pathology as a profession in China by Chinese-foreign cooperation.
